Coach and Group Tour Operators...

The Indoor Market is located near to the coach drop-off point in the City. We have a lift which can take your passengers up to Market Hall level (access to Market Place) as well as to the public toilets in the Market Hall.

We are pleased to be able to confirm that coach parking in Durham City is now FREE. In addition the Tourist Information Service offers a FREE meet and greet service (Contact Gemma Bateman on 0191 3018531).

If you let either Gemma or ourselves know in advance of your arrival we will make sure your party is met, given relevant information and your driver is given a meal voucher for Café Cenno in the Indoor Market.

Café Cenno is a recently refurbished and extended café which overlooks the hustle and bustle of the Market Hall. It is renown for its home baking, particularly scones, quiches and meat pies.
