Our Farmers and Producers Return (17 January)
Farmers' and Producers' Market (17 January)
From 9am on Thursday 17th January, the Farmers' and Producers' Market returns to the Market Place, bringing an impressive selection of locally produced food and drink, hand-crafted items, art and more.
This market is a great opportunity to support local independent businesses, ensure low food miles, and shop with traders who know all about what they're selling. Come and ask them all about their produce.
We're delighted to now be in partnership with Taste Durham, spreading the word to visitors about the produce which can be found at Durham Farmers' and Producers' Market.
The Market will be open from 9am until approximately 3.30pm, or earlier if the stalls sell out (which sometimes happens).
Here's who you'll find at this Thursday's Farmers' and Producers' Market:
Mellanby - fresh, locally-grown, seasonal vegetables
Broom House Farm - Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb & pork from this local organic farm
Durham Vintage - pre-loved fashion
The Green Guerilla - vegetarian and vegan streetfood
