Farmers' and Producers' Market returns (15 June)
Durham Farmers' & Producers' Market
From 9am on Thursday 15th June, the Farmers' and Producers' Market returns to the Market Place, bringing a fabulous selection of locally produced food and drink, hand-crafted items, art and more.
It's a great opportunity to support independent local businesses, ensure low food miles, and shop with traders who know all about what they're selling.
Additionally, this month we have stalls manned by children from 6 of the region's primary schools who've been working with The Soil Association to learn about food and provisions during World War I. Find out what they've been learning, buy some of the produced they've made, and take away their themed recipe books!
The Market will be open from 9am until approximately 4pm, or earlier if the stalls sell out (which sometimes happens).
