August Farmers' and Producers' Market (15 August)

Farmers' and Producers' Market (15 August)

From 9am on Thursday 15 August, the Farmers' and Producers' Market returns to the Market Place, bringing an impressive selection of locally produced food and drink, hand-crafted items, art and more.

This market is a great opportunity to support local independent businesses, ensure low food miles, and shop with traders who know all about what they're selling. Come and ask them all about their produce.

The Farmers' and Producers' Market is partnered with Taste Durham, spreading the word to visitors about the produce which can be found at our stalls.

The Market will be open from 9am until approximately 3.30pm, or earlier if the stalls sell out (which sometimes happens).

There's entertainment alongside the shopping this Thursday too.  We've a digger from Diggerland!  We've free facepainting with Moonwillows Facepainting, and free storytelling with Alice.  There's also singing with the hugely talented Jenna Highfield.
