Thank you to everyone who attended our Nostalgia Day in Durham - it was a great success! For photos, please see our Outdoor Market Facebook page here.
Our Nostalgia Day will bring entertainment for all to Durham Market Place and Walkergate on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May, 2019.
As part of a series of fun, family events in May, we've got themed entertainment and activities in the Market Place and Walkergate on the Bank Holiday Monday.
As well as a Vintage and General Market in the Market Place and street food vendors, we'll have the World War II living history group Yesterday's Heroes, with military vehicles and supplies, and entertainment from Jay B. In Walkergate, you can enjoy the swing sounds of big band Echo 42.
Also in the city centre, you'll find the Beamish 'Heartbeat' Bus in attendance together with members of the United Enthusiasts Club who know just about all there is to know about the history of the region's buses.
The Market Hall will also be open from 11am to 4pm.
